WPPS NAIDOC Day - Smoking Ceremony

As part of our NAIDOC Week celebrations, we warmly invite our school community to join us for a Smoking Ceremony. This significant cultural event provides an opportunity for students, families, and staff to come together to learn about and honour Aboriginal culture, traditions, and connection to Country. We welcome all families to attend and share in this meaningful experience.
Education Week Open Day

Join us during Education Week as we celebrate excellence in learning at Wentworth Point Public School. Families are invited to explore our open classrooms, experience learning in action, enjoy our Festival of Excellence, and connect with our community at a family picnic. We look forward to welcoming you onsite to showcase the incredible achievements, talents, and successes of our students.
Athletics Carnival
Date: 12 August
Time: All Day
Join us for our 2026 Athletics Carnivals as students showcase their skills, sportsmanship, and school spirit. Our K–2 Athletics Carnival will be held at the Pop Up Park, while students in Years 3–6 will compete at the Sydney Olympic Park Warm Up Arena. Families are warmly invited to attend and support our students as they participate in a range of track and field events throughout the day.
2026 Book Parade
Date: 26 August 2026
Time: 9-11
Join us for our annual Book Week Parade as we celebrate the joy of reading, storytelling, and imagination. Students are encouraged to come dressed as their favourite book character and take part in this much-loved community event. Families are warmly invited to attend and cheer on our students as they showcase their creativity and love of literature.
